Superior Collections are for the dedicated fan, and each app offers around 60-100 different games. In most cases it's a massive collection of hundreds of games, so if you're the person who wants to see everything that there is, you should head here. Ultimate Collections are for the serious expert, and each app offers a minimum of 150 different solitaire games.I've grouped these into five main categories according to the number of games contained in each app's collection: Instead, I want to showcase only those apps which offer a collection of different solitaire games that the enthusiast can explore and enjoy. There are literally hundreds of apps that already offer the classic Klondike solitaire game, for example. So if there's an app here that sounds appealing to you, you only have to click the link provided to the developer's page, to check out whether there's also an equivalent Android app, or version for Windows or Mac.Ĭategories My focus in this comparative review is not on apps that offer only one or two solitaire games, like Spider or FreeCell. But don't stop reading if you only have an Android device, because the majority of these apps also have a corresponding app for Android. But of the many apps that are out there for playing digital solitaire, which ones are the best, particularly if you have an iPad or iPhone? That's what I'll be focusing on in this article. In a previous article I covered some of the benefits of playing a digital versions of solitaire. No need to give two shits about who is the best. Just play the damn game by yourself or with friends. I'll never understand the mentality to be THE BEST OF ALL TIME when my only focus is to be the Best for ME. Little boys who never grew up have made a career out of checking in to the Leaderboard dozens of times a day to see themselves atop the leaderboard, and take action even if they fall even one NOTCH! Must be the BEST (even though they really aren't) and are influenced by getting pats on the back for not doing the work it takes to actually BE the best and #1. So, no matter what your hobby is, especially if it's online, there will always be those idiots who MUST be #1. Once the makers of the website discovered this exploit, they banned bots and anybody who used them, did away with the Leaderboard, and now, some of those dudes don't even have a podcast anymore because their only interest was to be #1. Dudes who had 4 people in their chat room during the LIVE broadcast somehow had 100,000+ listens and 50,000 downloads. So of course, those whose competitive nature peaked (just so they could become #1) invented bots to click "Play" on their podcast endlessly. The ranking was determined by how many listens you got, how many followers you had, and how many downloads your podcast got. When I started my podcast on a certain website, they had a ranking system. I think Blizzard should do away with the leaderboards. Even if some recent official releases have been polarizing among long-time supporters of the series, passion for Pokemon has hardly subsided, and the community appears to be always working on fan games that revisit classics such as FireRed. The 9th Generation games are set to drop by the end of 2022, and there is a lot of hype surrounding the project since Pokemon Legends: Arceus was generally well-received. Updated Apby Mark Sammut: Game Freak has recently announced Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the next mainline entries in the lucrative Nintendo franchise. As such, fans looking to re-live their favorite games or discover new favorites should consider the following Pokemon ROM hacks. RELATED: Pokemon: Things You Need To Know About Pokemon InsurgenceĪlthough Nintendo has, on several occasions, unplugged and halted the production of several projects, there are many out there that contain new and exciting features and mechanics that completely change the Pokemon-game experience. To subvert this, fans have come forward and created their own fan games, working and improving several mechanics yet to be explored in mainline Pokemon games to their liking. While the games have strayed in recent years with new titles and mechanics, Pokemon games ultimately feature a consistent and linear experience that remains loyal to expectation. The Pokemon journey is one that fans look forward to whenever a new game is announced. (e.g., “No purchase necessary for virtual in-experience item. GBs not included on the list, there's too many potential levels to count and anyone serious about fighting is likely to build them anyway. Upgradeable buildings list the highest attack bonus achievable with the building. The Winter Village's Halmbock assumes the two 1x1 tents and another 2 tile boosting piece for the minimum requirements to get the full 3% attack boost, since the Winter village has 9 pieces, but the Halmbock only requires 3 others to actually operate. Sets basically assume the full set in the "default" configuration, except for the Winter Village. Here's some data, including the Pirate Guard Post from the upcoming Summer Event (it's already been announced on the Forum, and I don't feel like redoing this post in two days). And those pieces don't even need road connections! Come to think of it, those little boost pieces from the Winter Village might be very very valuable depending on what we get with a certain upcoming feature. So that one gets harder to count as well.Īnd then there's the Winter Village where one might be able to do some really wacky stuff with Halmbocks if they hook them up to enough stuff. It's also still pretty similar to the default setup. Of course that's assuming something like the default setups, and not some of the really crazy stuff people have done to mash multiple set pieces together.Ĭlassical Garden Pool also requires the whole set, but you can sandwich them with the other two pieces in between two pools for maximum benefit, and that's what I have. The Sakura Rock and Piazza Clock I think need three other pieces to the sets? So that's 19 tiles total. Soooo.Įlephant Fountain needs the entire set, so that's 24 tiles total. Yeah, the set pieces are a little harder to count because the full set size is required, or at least most of it. Mine's lower over all since the TA isn't at level 10 yet, and I haven't pushed the other GBs past 10, while yours are pushing level 100. I'd have space for another level 2 Cherry Garden (I have the pieces for it) if I did that and that would make up for the lost bonuses on the Fountain. Hmm, perhaps I should think of ditching the Elephant Fountain, since it's only a paltry 5% in a 4x4, and requires another 8 tiles just to power it up with the other set pieces. |
